Description
Our first release of an enzyme coffee bean. Butter beans are made by leaving semi-washed green coffee beans in clarified unsalted butter for at least a month. The enzymes in the butter slowly break down the different layers. Lipases, lactase and rennet all work to create a smooth coffee that leaves you wanting more.
This process is not fast and it certainly has its drawbacks. One being that the average turnaround time for this bean is 45 days.
