Our Ghee beans are very similar to our Butter Beans. We import fresh made Ghee from different areas around the world. We then melt and mix the Ghee at a specific temperature with our Green coffee beans. Then, we let them sit for at least a month allowing the enzymes to react with the beans. The fats in Ghee also allow for a coating that stays on the beans keeping more intact during the roasting process. Removing the Ghee in the final stage is a very specific time consuming process as we don’t want to alter the beans originality and we want to ensure the moisture level stays the same.
