Our Clear Water beans actually start in a different direction then all of our regular “Enzymed” beans. For this process we agitate and heat the beans to remove most the enzymes and by-products in the original green bean, dry and roast.
These beans are much more sensitive to the roasting process as they don’t contain all the protective “oils” of other beans. This unfortunately also makes this roast more Acidic.
Definitely not everyone’s “cup of joe” but many people prefer this over bitter beans.
We’re also told that it makes an amazing ICE Coffee.
